Their remarkable achievements stand as a testament to the enduring impact of education and inspiration passed down through generations of our school community.
Liu Shenglie (劉盛烈)
In 1920, he graduated from Taipei Second High School. He became the head of the Department of Chemistry at National Taiwan University and the first doctor of science in Taiwan.
Chen Jionglin (陳炯霖)
In 1935, he graduated from Taipei Second High School. He served as the director of Taipei Women's and Children's Hospital, director of Taiwan Provincial Institute of Maternal and Child Health, director of Pediatrics at National Taiwan University Hospital, and chairman of the Perinatal Medicine Association of the Republic of China.
Yang Zhaoxiong (楊照雄)
In 1930, he graduated from Taipei Second Senior High School. He became the Dean of the National Taiwan University College of Medicine, Director of the Institute of Microbiology of the National Taiwan University College of Medicine, and a researcher of the International Anti-Cancer Society.
Yuan Yanfeng (袁埏烽)
In 1942, he graduated from Taipei Second Senior High School. He was the physical education inspector of the Taipei City Education Bureau, the director of the Taipei City Stadium Guidance and Promotion Group, the director of the Taipei Municipal Swimming Pool Management Office, the chairman of the Republic of China Martial Arts Committee, and a physical education teacher at this school.
Li Tiyuan (李悌元)
In 1943, he graduated from Taipei Second High School and later served as Deputy Director of the Department of Health, Executive Yuan, Governor of Tainan County, and Director of the Taipei City Department of Health.
Guo Zongqing (郭宗清)
In 1945, he graduated from Taipei Second High School. He became Deputy Minister of National Defense, the first Taiwanese admiral of the Navy, and Ambassador to the Republic of Paraguay.
Huang Zhengwang (黃政旺)
Junior high school in 1945, senior high school in 1948, Chairman of Tailing Industry, Chairman of Tailun Industry, Executive Director of the Automobile Safety Association of the Republic of China, and President of the Alumni Association of this school.
Guo Jinta (郭金塔)
In 1933, he graduated from Taipei Second High School. He served as a director of Taipei Corporate Bank, general manager of Taiwan Iron and Steel, and researcher at the Cancer Research Center of Columbia University in the United States.
Lin Tingsheng (林挺生)
In 1937, he graduated from Taipei Second High School. He later served as an advisor to the Presidential Office, chairman of the Taipei City Council, chairman of Tatung Corporation, president of Tatung University, and director of the Harvard University School of Business.
Cao Yonghe (曹永和)
In 1939, he graduated from Taipei Second Middle School. He is a member of the Academia Sinica, the Royal Academy of the Netherlands, and a visiting researcher at the Center for East Asian Studies of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Wu Jiantang (吳建堂)
In 1943, he graduated from Taipei Second Senior High School. He became a director of the Lions Clubs International in West District, Taipei City, and the director of the Yilan, Miaoli, and Keelung Provincial Hospitals.
Ouyang Peiquan (歐陽培銓)
In 1944, he graduated from Taipei Second High School and became the Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the National Taiwan University Hospital.
Huang Shihui (黃世惠)
In 1944, he graduated from Taipei No. 2 Middle School. He became the chairman of Sanyang Company, the chairman of Qingfeng Group, and a professor of neurosurgery at the University of Washington.
Yang Zhenzhong (楊振忠)
Senior high school in 1947, member of the Academia Sinica, president of Kaohsiung Medical College, director of the Institute of Molecular Biology of National Tsing Hua University, and director of the Taiwan Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
Yang Binyan (楊斌彥)
Graduated from high school in 1945, served as director of the National Federation of Industries, chairman of the Taiwan Adhesive Tape Industry Association, and chairman of Siwei Corporation.
Jiang Qingshui (江清水)
In 1940, he served as the president of the High School Sports Association and the principal of our school.
Gao Minghui (高銘輝)
Junior high school in 1948, senior high school in 1951, member of the Executive Yuan, Director of the Education Bureau of Taipei City Government, Chairman of the Boy Scouts Association of China, and Deputy Secretary-General of the Central Committee of the Kuomintang.
Lai Wanzhong (賴晚鐘)
In 1947, he was a member of the Legislative Yuan and served as the principal of Ren'ai Junior High School and Nanmen Elementary and Middle School.
Lian Zhan (連戰)
In the 39th year of the Republic of China, he served as Vice President of the Republic of China, Premier of the Executive Yuan, Chairman of the Taiwan Provincial Government, Chairman of the Kuomintang, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Minister of Transportation.
Chen Weishou (陳維壽)
In 1940, he was a senior high school student. He was a researcher at the Taiwan Provincial Museum, the president of the Butterfly Appreciation Club of the Animal Protection Association, the person in charge of the school's Insect Museum, and a biology teacher.
