Q. I had a tuberculosis test for my visa. Do I need to get tested again in Korea?

Yes. All dormitory residents, including Korean students, must submit a tuberculosis-negative result issued in Korea.

Q. What is the attendance policy?

Generally, if you miss more than one-fourth (¼) of the total classes, you cannot receive a grade. Please check the course syllabus for detailed information.

Q. My mail says it arrived at school, but it’s not in the dormitory.

If your mail was sent via the post office or EMS, it is usually delivered to Room 1006 in Gachon Hall. Please visit Room 1006 with your ID during office hours.

Q. My family sent me a package, but it’s being held at customs.

Packages exceeding a certain value may be held by customs. If you received a customs notice by mail or KakaoTalk, follow the provided instructions. If you did not receive a notice, please contact the Korea Customs Service (phone: 125).
To be exempt from customs duties, you may need to provide proof of your student status, such as an exchange student certificate or a copy of your visa.

Q. Can I pay my dormitory fee using SENTBE?

Payment via SENTBE is not available. Only traditional bank transfers are accepted.

Q. I want to travel home for a few days.

If you leave Korea before receiving your Alien Registration Card (ARC), your visa may be canceled. Please consult with the office staff before making any travel plans.

Q. Is transportation provided when I return to my home country?

Transportation is not provided for departure. Please use the subway, airport limousine bus (check the “버스타고” app), or a taxi (e.g., Uber).
