Issue # 2 - September 12, 2025
Dear Wildcat Families,
Our 2025-26 school year is well into a solid rhythm, with great momentum for our students and our wonderful school community. Today was no exception as our school day began and ended with brilliant smiles, outstanding positive attitudes, and determination to make each day count!
First, our sincere appreciation to the amazing GAAPA for providing a popsicle treat to our students on Monday. It was a wonderful way to celebrate our community spirit and bring smiles to many faces. On a hot day, this was a most welcome gift of care and kindness.
I am pleased to share that extracurricular activities have commenced. We strongly encourage parents to consider enrolling their children, as these activities provide valuable opportunities to build teamwork, develop new friendships, and strengthen discipline while having fun beyond the classroom. Research clearly shows that engagement with the school outside the classroom supports better outcomes inside the classroom, so please come out and participate.
Our morning arrival and dismissal procedures are becoming smoother each day, thanks to the use of multiple entry and exit points. In time, these measures will further ease traffic congestion around the school. We continue to refine our processes and we truly appreciate your patience and feedback as we work together to make it even better. The positive outcomes are a great example of our whole school community pulling together.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to our upcoming Back-to-School Nights on September 22, 23, and 24, where parents will have the opportunity to meet their child’s teachers and gain a deeper understanding of the curriculum and learning expectations. At GAA, we highly value these important events.
Finally, we invite you to join us for Coffee with the Superintendent, Executive Team and Senior Leadership Team on September 25. This will be a great opportunity to connect, share feedback, and engage in open conversation about our school community.
Thank you, as always, for your trust and collaboration. Together, we continue to build a strong and thriving school community.
With kind regards,
Dr. Ethan Hildreth
We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Tina Coley to the GAA community! Originally from Upstate New York, Ms. Coley has been living in the UAE since 2016. She holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Human Resource Development.
Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Coley enjoys spin classes, listening to audiobooks, and spending quality time with her bulldog and cat. She is excited to begin this next chapter with GAA and looks forward to contributing to our vibrant school community.
The school sports season is officially underway, and the Booster Club is excited to cheer on our GAA Wildcats! Our role goes far beyond selling spirit items and running the daily Snack Shack - we are here to ensure that our athletes and students feel supported, encouraged, and ready to perform at their very best.
But our support doesn’t stop at sports. The Booster Club is also proud to partner with the Art Department. As the art season begins, we look forward to helping showcase the creativity and talent of our student artists.
By promoting school spirit and building a strong sense of community, the Booster Club works to create an environment where every student feels proud to be a Wildcat. Together, let’s make this the best season yet as we celebrate the dedication, teamwork, and achievements of our students.
Go Wildcats!
The Booster Club Team
