Library Field Trip
Some high school students had the chance to go on a field trip this month at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair held in ADNEC. Students attended an author session and a poetry workshop. They met the author Nayanika Mahtani who gave an insight on how the shadows of the past affects us in the present through her award winning YA novel Across the Lines. Students were able to harness their words by expressing their thoughts and feelings in the Poetry Workshop by the two famous UAE poets Afra Atiq and Danabelle Gutierrez.
