Message from our Head of School,

Dr. Kathryn Miner

Distance Learning at GAA

Dear GAA Parents,

This Sunday March 22nd GAA will be implementing Distance Learning. At GEMS Education we are committed to delivering high-quality education. GAA will continue promoting its mission and vision during this challenging time of uncertainty and change.

Our leadership and faculty have worked relentlessly before and during the anticipated Spring Break to establish the Distance Learning Program (DLP). While DLP cannot replicate onsite learning, our teachers can deliver powerful instruction that allows students to meet expected standards in an online environment.

We think of it as a challenge and opportunity for all our Community to grow and to build skills that will serve for life. At this time of digital and social media, we will have a unique opportunity to help our students to continue learning online.

We are all advised to use social distancing. We understand that students will miss hanging out with their friends, classmates and teachers. However, we request you to help maintain contact with friends and see them in person when circumstance permit. We also recommend to monitor your children's social media use and remind them to be polite, respectful and appropriate in their communications and to represent your family's values in interactions with others.

Let's make the best out of this difficult situation!

Please proceed to KG, Elementary or Secondary Sections for detailed information on Distance Learning.

Kathryn Miner
