I am a student at Western Kentucky University as a Special and Elementary education major. I love to sing, dance, and act and am excited to incorporate those into my classroom. I grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and attended DuPont Manual High School.  I am very involved in the specials needs community in Louisville and have been for years. I have been volunteered with organizations such as Specials Olympics, Best Buddies, and Down Syndrome of Louisville. I was inspired to become an educator by my mother who teaches at DuPont Manual High School. I have always had a heart for the Special Needs community because of my sister, Ella, who has Down Syndrome.  Having a passion for both teaching and the Special Needs community, Special Education was the best occupation for me.
