In my future classroom, I would first set high expectations from the beginning of the year. There would be basic class rules posted on the wall and would be enforced with every student.  There would be different ways to discipline students depending on how they are disrupting. I would attempt to use the non-destructive correction so that the lesson is still able to flow.
