On 20th November, the webinar Healthy Life at University: Balancing Health and Knowledge brought together students, educators, and health experts to explore strategies for maintaining health and well-being while pursuing academic goals through the EDU- FIT project. With a total of 167 participants, the event featured insightful presentations and engaging multimedia content, providing practical guidance for achieving a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
The webinar was an undeniable success, equipping attendees with practical tools and meaningful inspiration to strike a harmonious balance between health and academic pursuits.
The Q&A session brought forth vibrant discussions, as participants posed thought-provoking questions to moderators dr. Marić, Šmuljić, mag., and dr. Baretić about overcoming temptations like vending machine junk food, understanding the impact of artificial sweeteners, and managing the pitfalls of excessive coffee consumption. Adding a personal touch, Goran Marić shared his journey from being a professional basketball player to grappling with weight gain during his studies, underscoring the value of mindful eating and regular physical activity.
