Proposal for the establishment of a permanent scientific Task Force for Lake Garda
Verona, 28 October 2017
Lake Garda is an extraordinary but fragile natural heritage. The rapid natural and anthropogenic changes to which it has been subjected during the last decades are exposing this system to several threats and addressing those will be lead to several challenges.
Is the local community ready to face these challenges?
The scientific community wishes to make its knowledge and competences available to local decision makers, offering a support for an efficient management and sustainable use of this precious resource without obstructing opportunities for next generations.
