(June 2023) I am very excited to announce that I was selected as UC Riverside's Graduate of the Year! Annually, the UC Office of the President selects one student from each of the UC campuses from the graduating class, this year's theme was 'First-gen students'. I'm honored to have been chosen for this opportunity and to have my story shared on the University of California's main website. Next up: graduation!

(June 2023) I am delighted to have my experience as a first-generation, transfer student covered by the UC Office of the President as yet another success story speaking on the UC's commitment to social mobility. Four years in a row, U.S. News has named UC Riverside the top public university for social mobility, paying homage to its Minority-Serving (MSI) and Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) statuses.
