Teaching

At the graduate level, I teach CA methods and social interaction in health care contexts. At the undergraduate level, I  teach an introductory methods course that is a pre-requisite for the major and an upper division class on physician-patient interaction. Undergraduates interested in social interaction should take Soc 124A and B as well as 125, and see anything on offer from my colleagues affiliated with the Center for Language, Interaction and Culture (CLIC)  in Sociology, Anthropology, Asian Languages & Cultures, and Communication .

Graduate students or CLIC visitors  interested in taking part in the 289 advanced seminar must have completed basic training in CA (244AB or the equivalent) and have instructor permission.
