We are currently looking for motivated graduate and undergraduate students to join our team starting in Fall 2027. While prior experience in our specific research areas is always helpful, we place a much higher value on scientific curiosity and a commitment to advancing rigorous science that improves people's lives.
Our goal is to prepare trainees for impactful scientific careers. Because science is an increasingly interdisciplinary endeavor, trainees in the Jiang Lab will find abundant opportunities to collaborate across disciplines and expand their technical toolkits.
Furthermore, we believe that sharing your ideas with audiences of diverse scientific and technical backgrounds is key to translating your research into real-world impact. We are committed to equipping all our trainees with exceptional skills in both written and oral scientific communication to ensure they thrive as future scientific leaders.
Prospective Graduate Students
If you are interested in pursuing graduate studies in the lab, please complete the following two steps:
Formally apply to the UCLA Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (CBE) graduate program and list Allen as your first-choice faculty advisor.
Send an email to Allen with the subject line: “Interest in Joining Jiang Lab”. Please include a brief introduction and attach your current CV and transcript.
