Welcome!
Anna Bonazzi I'm a fourth-year in the German section of ELTS and I work on multilingualism and memory studies in Germany! My dissertation focuses on three archives of oral interviews with migrants, refugees, and Holocaust survivors in Germany. Fun fact: I'm super into old detective stories and knitting!
Amber Sackett I am a fourth-year in the French and Francophone section of the recently-formed ELTS department. I am interested in graphic novels, food studies, eco-critical students, and visual studies. I currently work on the French graphic novel (bande dessinée) series, Carnets d'Orient. Fun fact: I am the co-owner and designer at OddFlower Creations, a business that sustainably crafts jewelry and homeware inspired by Los Angeles' biodiversity and architecture.
Kendell Clarke Bonjour! I am a fourth year in the French and Francophone section of the recently-formed ELTS department. I study elemental descriptions in early modern science fiction novels and plan to defend my prospectus in June of 2022. My academic interests include environmental humanities, specifically new thalassology (oceanic studies) and critical plant studies. Fun fact: I started hula hooping during quarantine. It is a great de-stressing/ anti-tantrum activity for people of all ages!
