The University of California, Los Angeles, offers credential programs/authorizations through the School of Education and Information Studies (SEIS), The Luskin School of Public Affairs (LSPA), and University Extension (UNEX). Every CTC-accredited credential program is part of the UCLA CTC-Accredited Professional Education Programs Unit (UCAP). The Dean of the School of Education and Information Studies leads the Unit, as appointed by the Executive Vice Chancellor/Provost. The UCAP Unit has a common mission of promoting social justice, building an ethic of caring, fostering individual responsibility, and committing to underserved communities. Our credentials are offered through a variety of pathways to serve the needs of our candidates and community partners.
