Fall 2022: Tea Time will be held weekly on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30pm @ 3rd Floor Patio of Engineering VI.

Industry and Student Panel on Navigating through Graduate School (Part 1) - Oct 14, 2020

In this event, attendees met and learned from a diverse graduate student panel of successful UCLA former and current senior students who shared their advice for navigating through graduate school. Our UCLA former student panelists are currently leading careers in large technology companies, including Microsoft and NetApp. Our event was welcome to all graduate students and staff members, and we had over 30 attendees. Our senior Ph.D. and Master’s student panelists covered several topics including research & teaching, people & organizations, coursework, and stress management.

Industry Panel on Interview Preparation - Oct 7, 2020

This was our first tea-time event of the quarter! With the recruitment season soon to begin, we hosted a panel discussion with industry experts from Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Cisco on the theme of software interview preparation for internships and full-time jobs. Our event was heavily attended, with over 60 UCLA students and staff members participating.

Fall 2019

Free drinks and food in a pressure free environment to chat with faculty members and companies every Wednesday from 3:30 - 4:30 PM at 3rd Floor Patio of Engineering VI. Mingle with your fellow CS classmates as you build up the courage to talk to the visiting company or a faculty member.
