About Us

We are a group of Human Biology and Society undergraduates at UCLA. Our lead website designer was Eleanor Jaffe-Pachuilo. She lead the design for the website. Rachelle Bishay was in charge of conducting the interviews to represent personal anecdotes from the MENA population. Osvaldo Sanchez Fernandez provided the team with creative ideas on how to present our topic and acted as an advisor. Samantha Solis was helpful in the organization of our articles and made sure to delegate the next steps in the making of this website.

Our mission for this website is to explore whether Arab Americans should be classified as white under the US Census. We hope to explain the different biological and social areas that contribute to this topic.
