Include an optional internship during your semester in Strasbourg!
Community internships:
When interested, students frequently choose to register for 1-credit which requires one half-day per week at the placement and weekly attendance in a one hour course, BPS400 Global Workplace, at the Center. Please follow instructions that Aero has shared if you're interested in this opportunity.
Intern at the Council of Europe:
Registered as a class, PSC 471 includes a final interview shortly before you travel abroad, or once in Strasbourg. If offered the internship, you will be registered during the schedule adjustment period early in the semester (you will not be able to register for PSC 471 during online registration) and should register for an alternative course until presented with this limited acceptance.
To Apply:
Complete the Internship Request Form found in your Syracuse Abroad application list in the OrangeAbroad portal before the May 1 deadline.
If applying for an internship at the Council of Europe, follow the additional instructions!
If you've applied for a community internship, you will work with the Strasbourg Internship Coordinator to find the placement that best suits your interests and qualifications. Make sure to monitor your syr.edu email!
All students should be advised to consult with their home school/college before undertaking an internship since there may be specific rules, requirements, and/or restrictions with regard to internship credit.
