PRE-SELECT Your Courses on the Course Preference Form
Log in to your OrangeAbroad portal.
Read the Course Preference Form (CPF) instructions and Checklist.
Submit your CPF via the link in OrangeAbroad by May 8.
Find a copy of your completed form at the email address you specified on the form. If you need to make changes to your selections, you can submit a revised CPF before the May 8 deadline.

We strongly recommend consulting with your home college academic advisor(s), but it is your responsibility to know your degree requirements and ensure your course plan (including your alternative course preferences) will keep you on track for graduation.
Your academic advisor may need descriptions or syllabi for the courses you want to have approved. Contact the Academic Team at Syracuse Abroad if you need a course syllabus.
REMEMBER: If you need to make changes to the preferences that you've already submitted, and it is still before the submission deadline, go ahead and submit a new CPF. Only the most recent CPF will be reviewed by our office.

Check for holds that would prevent us from enrolling you in your fall courses.
Log into MySlice using your NetID and password.
Go to Student Home > “Holds” tile to see if any hold is on your account.
If yes, resolve it right away by contacting the office that placed the hold. Our office does not place holds and thus lacks the authority to lift them. Here’s whom you should contact depending on the type of hold:
Advising holds (matriculated SU students only): Your home college
Bursar holds: Office of the Bursar at +1 315-443-2444
Other Financial Holds (Parking, Bookstore, Library, misc.): Office that placed the hold

Our office will pre-register you in MySlice based on the Course Preferences you submitted and will contact you when your schedule is available to review in MySlice.
You will have an opportunity to finalize your registration in Wroclaw during the Add/Drop period.
It can be helpful to refer to your submitted Course Preference Form (CPF). You should have received a copy of your submission via email.
Be sure to regularly check your syr.edu email for updates from our office.
