UPLOAD your signed SAF to OrangeAbroad no later than November 10.

• If it is difficult to have your advisor sign the SAF, you may — based on email, phone or video consultation with your advisor —  complete the form yourself by indicating how each course will count.

• Note any changes made to your Primary Course Selections in consultation with your advisor by simply marking up your form — without obscuring your original course selections, please! — before you save/scan and upload it.

• Visiting students: Even if your home school does not pre-approve courses, you must still submit your SAF so we can register you. Please also upload your SAF, indicating that your school does not sign off on courses in advance.

• Only legible PDF files will be accepted. If you don’t have a scanner, download a free app (such as Evernote Scannable for iPhone/iPad or Adobe Scan for Android or iPhone) that takes a photo from your phone and converts it into a PDF.

• In OrangeAbroad, select Student Advising Form (with Advisor’s Signature) to upload the SAF. If the SAF is not signed by your advisor, also upload any documentation of the conversation with your advisor. Be sure to hit ‘Submit’ (not ‘Save’).

• Under Confirmation of Selected Courses, use the dropdown menu to indicate whether any changes have been made to your Primary Course Selections. If so, see "NOTE ANY CHANGES" above. Syracuse Abroad will record any changes made on your uploaded SAF as a result of consultation with your advisor(s).

If your advisor(s) approved all of your Primary Course Selections, please choose "No changes have been made to my course selections on my Student Advising Form."
