1) COMPLETE your form indicating your course selections in order of preference, then email by November 1 to SantiagoSAF@syr.edu.
Syracuse Abroad Program Advisors are not able to advise on your degree progress or sign your SAF.
Your academic advisor may need descriptions or syllabi of the courses you want to have approved. Contact the Syracuse Abroad Academic Team or your Santiago Program Advisor if you need a course syllabus.
If you and/or your advisor(s) must make changes to your original course selections, it's no problem. Draw a single line through the previous course(s) on a hard copy, and add the new course selection(s) — without obscuring your original course selections, please! — before you save/scan and upload it.
When you upload your revised form to Student Advising Form (with Advisor's Signature) under your Online application Checklist, you will find a dropdown menu under Confirmation of Selected Courses (see screenshot under Step 6: Upload Your SAF). From this menu, choose "Changes have been made to my course selections on my Student Advising Form." This will alert our office to note your changes as we record the number of requests for each course.
