French class levels:
ALL Students at Beginning (100) or Intermediate (200) levels:
Take the appropriate 4-credit language instruction course: FRE 101,102, 201, or 202.
ALL Students at an Advanced level (300 or 400):
If you have already completed four semesters of college-level French (and/or are at that level of proficiency), choose one or more of the following 3-credit Center courses:
FRE 300.3 - Beyond the Hexagon: The (Grammatical) Discovery of France's Regions
FRE439/HOA365 Art in France from Impressionism to Surrealism
FRE 400 - To the Barricades! The People & Movements that Made France
Students participating in a partner (local) university program take classes taught in French at the local university as well as French Center classes.
