As much as we are premedical students, we truly appreciate the moments we have to spend time with our fellow members in non-medical settings. Here are a few favorite member events from the past few years!
On the week of October 19th, Phi Delta Epsilon celebrates its International week of Philanthropy, a week where every chapter strives to raise money for Children's Miracle Network hospitals which is directly given to local patients for their treatments. Our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital is Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital!
In the month of September, our chapter visits Downtown Ithaca's annual Apple Harvest Festival, featuring fall baked goods, food trucks, and local artisanal vendors. Rain or shine, it is always a fun weekend activity!
On Founder's Day we celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of Aaron Brown in establishing Phi Delta Epsilon as a professional medical fraternity, that now after 117 years, is still in existence and thriving.
Giavana Prucha, a 2022 graduate, with the Montondo Cup at Senior Send-Off!
Named after one of our previous members, Kelsey Montondo '18, the Montondo Cup is awarded to the "phamily" with the highest number of points, earned through participation and winning fun competitions during our general body meetings! Upon winning the Montondo Cup, the "phamily's" names are engraved to the cup and will remain in their possession until the next Montondo Cup winner!
To celebrate the end of spring semester, Phi Delta Epsilon holds a formal as a time for final goodbyes to the seniors and celebrating the successes of the semester!
