Why I Love PhiDE? I joined PhiDE to meet new people and be a part of a group of students all dedicated to the same thing. PhiDE has brought some of my closest friends into my life and I love continuing to make more each semester. As Vice President of Recruitment & Retention, I love meeting new members and showing them why PhiDE is such an amazing phamily and I love helping them to discover all the things that we have to offer. Joining PhiDE is definitely one of the best decisions I ever made and I am forever inspired, supported, and amazed by every single person in it.

Interests and Activities: Alpha Chi Sigma, Phi Eta Sigma, Biotech society, Women’s network, looking to work as a nurse assistant for labor and delivery this summer, lab corp covid testing and research, singing, working out.

Why I Love PhiDE? I love PhiDE because it has given me the opportunity to progress with others, as well as, individually.  I enjoy being apart of a community where I am challenged constantly and surrounded by others with the same goals as me.  The people ahead of me in their pre-med journeys are happy to answer any questions I have and help me along the way!

Why I Love PhiDE? To me, both being able to learn from others and being able to help others are crucial in a group of similarly-minded people. I believe that PhiDE provides both of these experiences for me and for every person who is a part of PhiDE. Joining PhiDE has helped me to grow a more open and accepting mind of all of the different possibilities and paths in the healthcare world. PhiDE provides a community that bonds pre-meds in a way that gives some ease to the overly competitive path.

Why I Love PhiDE? Being a Pre Med is tough but having a community of people to depend on makes this journey even better! I’ve met so many people and had so many opportunities to learn more about the path to medicine and what specialty I might be interested in! PhiDE has given me multiple connections I’d never expect to have as an undergrad!

Why I Love PhiDE? I love to be in Phide bc it is a place where I felt I could connect with the people and they would understand me. Everyone is super helpful and resourceful in times of need and they are very willing to help.
