Research Interest: Player evaluation and visual analysis in sports using machine learning methods.

Research:

Player evalution

In the study of badminton player evaluation, we used reinforcement learning to quantitatively evaluate the strokes of badminton. We believe this technique will help us find out which strokes directly or indirectly lead to the players losing points during a rally.

Visual analysis of the game control area

Since few datasets are available for racket sports, we collected and built our own drone video dataset to estimate the control area of badminton doubles.
