I've been using since college.  These include Inverted Light Mircoscopes, Dissecting Microscopes, and Fluorescent Stained Microscopes.  I even thought I broke a microscope during my thesis experiment!

My Favorite is the Compound Light Microscope.  That is the one we will use during class.  You can even use your phone to take pictures and videos through it.  These microscopes can make things 40X, 100X, or even 400X times bigger!
