DRIVER EDUCATION – 2023-2024

As per the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles, the Riverhead High School Driver's Education Program will be returning to the traditional in-person lecture and driving school-based (Fitzgerald Driving School), in-car driving instruction, framework for our program beginning in September of 2023. Due to this change in policy, and our program's adjustment back to the pre-covid framework, we will not be holding a summer session of Driver's Education.  We will begin registering for our Fall Session, which will begin in September of 2023.  Please Note: There will be a limited number of enrollments, due to the return to the in-person lectures, and in-car instruction, so registration and submission of required information in necessary to hold your spot. In the event, that registrations exceed, the number of available spots, we will prioritize enrollment by grade, and transfer other registrants to our waiting list.
