Character concepts based on the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra's performance of Peter and the Wolf, a "symphonic tale for children," as part of a promotional project.
Each character was based loosely on their corresponding instrument in the performance.
All drawings were made in Photoshop.

Inspired by the woods of Russia from the original story
The part of the story I was asked to illustrate was:
"But Peter paid no attention to his grandfather's words. Boys like him are not afraid of wolves. But grandfather took Peter by the hand, led him home and locked the gate. No sooner had Peter gone, than a big grey wolf came out of the forest."
