Two children explore an ruin town in order to catch "fireflies," which in this context are not your typical bugs, but are instead small creatures born from the embers of a volcanic disaster.
Fireflies at Sunset was my junior year short film. I worked on it from September of 2024 into April of 2025. Backgrounds were painted in Photoshop. The film itself was animated and composited in ToonBoom Harmony. Premiere Pro was used to piece everything together.
