Once approved, you will receive a phone call to schedule an appointment with one of our counselors to go over graduation requirements, graduation plan, and a schedule of classes.
If you are unable to complete this online, you may stop by our school and our registrars will assist you. However, please be advised that this may result in longer waiting times.
Is your child a new or returning student to Richardson High School? Please fill out this form to enroll one or more students in our school district. You will need to upload the following documents:
Student's birth certificate (from wherever they were born)
Student's Social Security Card (if available)
Proof of residency
Example: Current lease contract, water bill, etc...
Immunization Records (must be approved by school nurse)
Parent / Guardian's Identification
Example: Driver's License, Matriculate Card, Passport, etc...
Withdrawal Form with grades from previous school and most recent report card showing all cycle grades
Special Education or 504 Records (if any)
You only need one account per household to enroll all of your students that will be attending Richardson ISD schools.
Applications for families wanting their students to receive free or reduced-price meals at school are now open!
This program is available to all RISD students, regardless of nationality or immigration status. Participants accepted into the program are solely based on household income.
You can apply here online or stop by any of our schools for assistance in person.
Please be aware that only one breakfast meal and one lunch meal will be provided to each student at a free or reduced-cost, per day, from the main cafeteria.
Meals and snacks purchased from the Eagle's Nest are NOT free and will require students to pay in cash or have money deposited into their accounts.

Are you over the age of 18 and want to continue your education? Are you worried about being in classes with teenagers? If so, Richardson Independent School District also offers adult education classes to help improve your reading, writing, and speaking skills.
We also help provide you with classes so you can earn your Graduate Equivalency Degree (G.E.D.) or improve your own English skills.
