WHAT IS IGNITE LEADERSHIP?

Ignite Leadership is focused around 9 Qualities of an Effective Leader and the best-selling book "7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens". The Leadership strand provides incoming high school freshmen with the skills necessary to not only be successful while in high school, but equips them with the tools to become leaders among their peers, within their community, and the capacity to utilize technology to reach a global audience. We will introduce students to the potential opportunities that await them in their future high schools and give them the opportunity to plan and network to make the most of their high school experience. Our program also provides opportunities to meet other community leaders so campers can inquire about their success and journeys which encourages students to be leaders within their home, school, neighborhood, community, and globally by being strong role-models and leading through service.
