selection for next school year. Students will choose three (3) electives.

January 20: FMMS Course Fair | 6:00–7:30 p.m.
February 11: 6th graders meet with counselors to select electives
Before Spring Break: Course verification email will be sent

Starting in Fall of 2024, students attending 6th grade Middle School (in the Lake Highlands Learning Community) or 7th grade Junior High (in all feeder patterns) will be eligible for placement in GT-supported sections of GT Advanced 6th Math or 7th grade GT Pre-Algebra. This will be in addition to the GT-supported sections of English Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science.
