Our Redhawk Pep Band & Marching Band is comprised of all band students enrolled in Concert Band or Symphonic Band. 

Pep band performs at home football games, home basketball games, and pep assemblies during the school year. 

We do one field show for our homecoming football game each year!

Redhawk Band Camp 2025

Expectations:

• Expect to work and to work hard

• Expect to develop stamina – both mental and physical

• Expect to be pushed towards excellence by the directors, your peers and yourself

• Expect to make great new friends

• Expect to be proud of the hard work you will put into making the Redhawk Band one of the best bands around

This year's Redhawk Band Camp Dates are:

Percussion Camp - Wednesday, August 6th - Friday, August 8th, 2025

Full Band Camp - Monday, August 11th - Friday, August 15th, 2025

Redhawk Percussion Camp

Redhawk Percussion Camp will focus on percussion techniques and drumline-specific performance. Students will be assigned to their drumline instruments (snare, tenors, bass, or cymbals), learn cadences, and do some field work before full band camp to learn percussion-specific marching techniques. (9am-12:45pm daily)

Full Redhawk Band Camp

Redhawk Band Camp will focus on 3 main goals.

1. Strengthen community within our band family through games, activities, and academic rigor

2. Prepare all of our music for football season before school starts

3. Teach marching band techniques, and put together our homecoming field show

Daily schedule is as follows:

Downbeat is at 9:00am!

• Roll Call (5 minutes)

• Community Building (25 minutes)

• Marching Techniques/Field Work (120 minutes) 

• Lunch (40 minutes)

• Band Rehearsal (60 minutes)

• Sectionals (30 minutes)

• Band Rehearsal (30 minutes)

• Games (40 minutes)

Pack up at 3:00pm!

Drum Major Auditions

Do you want to lead the band this year? Have ideas about how to boost band morale & culture? Just want to yell numbers really loud?

We are looking to appoint between two and three drum majors for this year's football & basketball seasons. Click this link to see more details.

**Drum Major Auditions will tentatively occur during the final day of band camp (August 15th, 2025)

**Drum Major Interviews will be scheduled during band camp, at lunch time or just after the day concludes
