Tips to help support your child's speech skills:

    • One of the most important things that you can do for your child’s speech development is to talk to them and let them talk to you.

    • Don’t draw attention to your child’s speech errors.

    • When you notice an error, use that same word in your response with the correct pronunciation. Look at your child while you speak, (this lets them see how your mouth moves when you make the sound), and emphasize the correct pronunciation of the sound.
