I am originally from the South of Germany and studied English and German Philology in Munich, Canterbury (MA in Modern English Literature) and Halifax NS (MA in German Literature). I have been working at QE since 2012 where I also teach EPQ. My other languages are French, Spanish and Italian. My interests include cycling and sea kayaking – I particularly love to travel to the islands in the West and North of Scotland. I am a Green Party supporter.

I have been working at QE for about three years part-time. I was born in Esslingen, Germany; grew up in the United States and have now lived in the UK over 10 years. I am a keen gardener working hard to learn the Latin names of plants.
Outdoors is where I'm happiest --camping, swimming in the Lake District or walking in the Dales. I ride my bike to work and around town.
I am not yet allowed to vote in the UK, and yet I still pay taxes in the US. And, no, I do not like him.
