My Bio

I grew up knowing I wanted to be a teacher because my teachers made such a wonderful difference in my life.  Teaching at Eden is more than a dream come true.  It's true what they say, Eden really does ROCK!

I graduated from Jacksonville State University in April 2006. I taught summer school math to 8th and 9th graders that June and July. Then I came to Eden to be a 4th grade teacher in August and I've been happily teaching in the same grade/classroom ever since.  

I graduated from Jacksonville State University in August of 2023 with a masters degree in Library Media. I look forward to becoming an elementary librarian some day.

I have been extremely blessed with an incredible husband, Rob. We live in Birmingham and share 5 awesome kids; Nash, Macy, Cooper, Natalie, and Lucy Mae! We love Jesus and one another,  and we love to travel and have fun family adventures. 

My hobbies include spending as much time with my family as humanly possible, reading, crafting, and taking TONS of photos. I think technology is awesome and use it in the classroom as much as possible.  

I create the Eden yearbook, too. So, if you're in my class be prepared to have the camera capture you often.
