Interview Prep

Attire/Hygiene:

• Do not wear flip flops or shorts!
• Wear a clean outfit, avoid jeans if possible (see Mrs. Kaler if you want to use items from the Career Closet)
• Take a shower the morning of and wear deodorant.

Interview Time:

• Shake the hand of your interviewer, do not try to break their hand.
• Have a copy of your updated resume.
• Introduce yourself and thank the person for seeing you today.

Questions that may be asked:

1) Tell me about yourself.

2) What is your greatest strength and weakness?

3) How would a teacher describe you?

4) What are your goals?

5) Do you have any questions for the hiring committee?

Always have a question ready at the end of your interview. Questions you may use are listed below.

1) What traits are you looking for in an ideal employee?

2) What kind of professional development do you offer at this company?

3) In what ways does this company give back to the community?
