Students who have not otherwise obtained a College and Career Readiness Indicator must take Workkeys their senior year. Click here for information about how to prepare.
ASVAB
Students who are interested in enlisting in the military can utilize Kuder to prepare to take the ASVAB in the fall of their junior or senior year. Follow the instructions in the college and career research section to log in.
A College and Career Readiness (CCR) Indicator is a way for students to prove that they are college and career ready. There are several ways to obtain a CCR indicator:
Pass a dual enrollment course or an AP exam
Earn a career tech credential
Examples are: NCCER, Beef Quality Assurance, Microsoft Office Specialist, Pharmacy Technician, Patient Care Technician (PCT), Public Safety Telecommunicator, JROTC Program Completion
Benchmark on at least one section of the ACT during junior year
Benchmarks are English-18, Reading-22, Math-22, Science-23
Score Silver or higher on all sections of Workkeys test
Now is the time to explore future careers! Career Academies are programs of study that prepare students for a specific career. Students are highly encouraged to choose an academy and complete 3 classes within that academy before graduation.
