1) Formula-level precision: precise mechanisms that are numerically precise and describable by equations.
2) Cross-individual uniformity: foundational mechanisms that can be applied to everyone uniformly without the need of individual calibration.
3) Engineerability: direct mechanisms that are beyond qualitative causality, but allowed quantitative tuning, achieving behavioral engineering.
As a lab of MD background, we also apply translational approaches to investigate the pathophysiology of movement disorders, such as Parkinson's disease, tremor and ataxia.
