This is an inquiry-based IoT lesson that requires student teachers to experiment making no-knead bread and baking the bread under two different conditions - heated casserole dish with lid and without lid.
Incorporating the application of IoT into the lesson, temperature, moisture and rise sensors are used to collect real-time data during the bread proofing and baking processes. From the data collected, student teachers are to discuss the findings on the transfer of energy from the heated casserole with and without lid to the dough and the effect it has on the bread rise and crust.
