Elementary Fine Arts and PE (EFAPE)
All of our EFAPE teachers are preparing two lessons each week for the remainder of the school year. These lessons will be available to EVERY student in the district, not just 4th and 5th graders. These lessons will be available on the VAPA website, vapa.mvusd.net beginning Monday, April 20th. On this site they will be able to find lessons in Art, Music, and Physical Education. Every student will have access to all three arts teachers, all three music teachers, and all three PE teachers, regardless of the school they attend. That is a total of eighteen lessons each week. Some teachers may want to consider a VAPA day during the week then having their students write about their experiences.

Our elementary band directors, Dr. Usher and Mr. Williams are preparing lessons each week for their students to continue their instrumental progress. These lessons will also be available on our VAPA website, vapa.mvusd.net beginning Monday, April 20th. If you have parents asking about returning instruments, the district will not be collecting district owned instruments until June. If they have rented an instrument from a music store, they need to contact that specific music store for information on returns.

Riverside Art Museum – Art to Go!
We have been working with the Riverside Art Museum to provide additional enrichment opportunities. These lessons are available on a special website created for our school district at, https://sites.google.com/view/mvusdatg. They have different lessons for a variety of grade levels and even a LIVE STREAM lesson every Tuesday at 10:00 am available to anyone interested.

All student performances will be judged and awarded a certificate listing their achievement level. These will be emailed at the end of the school year. Students can submit their art work at bit.ly/mvesvirtualfest. More information is available at vapa.mvusd.net.
