The lives of countless children diagnosed with ASD could be changed forever with quality behavioral intervention, but that intervention is out of reach for too many children and their families. To complicate things further, many families receive false promises of interventions with little to no empirical support or of very limited quality. Drs. Ron Leaf and John McEachin understood these problems all too well. Playing an integral role in the seminal work of Dr. Ivar Lovaas on the UCLA Young Autism Project and continuing their work for over 40 years, they had the unyielding hope of reaching those children and ensuring quality, effective intervention could be accessible to all. It is this vision that led to the founding of Autism Partnership Foundation (APF).

APSPARKS adopts a unique style of progressive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in our treatment. It is flexible, creative, natural and at the same time, structured and systematic.
This website lists many hundreds of videos with different training programs and suggestions. You will see different children learning similar skills but with different approaches individualized to their own unique personalities and learning needs.
APSPARKS aims to spark your creativity, and spark your very own unique programing ideas for different children with autism using a more progressive style of ABA. As varied and unique as all children are, each program we designed are also unique and individualized. We are working with different children every day, and we are adapting and changing the way we work with children all the time.
We hope you will join us here, and this website will be an amazing resource for you in the future.

Service Update: TASK is offering all services without interruption.
Because our top priority is the safety of our staff and the families that we serve, we are not providing services in person until further notice, but we are conducting workshops, support groups, IEP consultations and assistive technology services via Zoom and telephone.
Visit our calendar to see upcoming online workshops, or contact your local TASK office for help with special education, IEPs or answers to your questions about assistive technology and augmentative and alternative communication.
NEW: Check out our Resources page for the newest resources related to COVID-19 and how it relates to special education, plus a massive list of Online Resources for Parents and Professionals that our TECH Center has put together!
What We Do: TASK helps families navigate special education, disability services and assistive technology. We provide families with emotional support, information, and direction.
