It's never too late to try new things! My name is Brandi Clarke. I am the mother of five grown children and I teach in Moreno Valley, CA. Five years ago I went back to school to get my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in education. And, look at me now. I have spent my first year teaching "Firsties" and I LOVE IT! But what a year to start teaching...am I right? Impossibilities brought with it challenges, growth, and a new perspective on POSSIBILITIES. I am fortunate to be surrounded by a fabulous admin, coach, and group of teachers. My grade level team has been the most welcoming group of veteran teachers. I could not have made it without their patience and support. On the flip side, I have learned so much from my students...umm, like...Band-Aids fix everything, including broken hearts; weeds can be flowers; and that little hands can write about big feelings. I am so lucky to be on this adventure and I am looking forward to many more years!
