Iligan City National High School, also known as City High, is located at Corner Roxas Avenue, Barangay Mahayahay, Iligan City, 9200, Lanao del Norte. It used to operate in two shifts, but now runs for the whole day. The school offers various curriculums including Science, Special Program for Sports (SPS), Special Program for the Arts (SPA), and Regular Programs of the Basic Education Curriculum. Additionally, it provides a special program for out-of-school adults under the Alternative Learning System (ALS). The school also offers Senior High School for both grade 11 and grade 12, with different strands available.

This program is a four year secondary program which was formerly initiated & supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) through building a Science Laboratory apparatus & equipment and trainings for teachers.
Students admitted to this program come from the upper 10% of the elementary graduating class. Admission test in both oral & Written are administered by the Division Science/ Mathematics Supervisor.
This curriculum encompasses a diverse array of subjects taught daily, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for students. The subjects covered include:
English: Fostering language proficiency, communication skills, and literature appreciation.
Science: Exploring the wonders of the natural world, scientific inquiry, and critical thinking.
Math: Developing numerical literacy, problem-solving abilities, and logical reasoning.
Filipino: Nurturing proficiency in the national language, cultural appreciation, and literary heritage.
Mother Tongue: Celebrating linguistic diversity, promoting fluency in regional languages, and preserving cultural heritage.
Mapeh (Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health): Cultivating creativity through music and arts, promoting physical fitness and wellness, and imparting essential health knowledge.
TLE (Technology and Livelihood Education): Equipping students with practical skills in various fields, preparing them for future careers and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Each subject contributes uniquely to the holistic development of students, fostering intellectual, emotional, and practical competencies essential for success in both academic and real-world contexts.
