5th Place in the Northeast District (NED) Contest held on October 26, 2024 in Worcester, MA
The “2024 Barbershopper of the Year Award” was presented to Isaac Swanson on Wednesday January 21, 2025. The BOTY Award is given to the member whose contributions to the Chapter have brought him distinction and was of significant benefit to the chorus. Issac has filled in for our director in his absence, performed many of our "warm-ups" at the start of our rehearsals, and serves on our Board of Directors to name a few. He is hard-working, dependable, and most importantly, is very talented (our best tenor). Thank you, Isaac and congratulations.

The “Brian O'Leary Award” was also presented on January 21, 2025 to Todd Robbins. This award is dedicated to the memory of the legendary BHS and WMOS member, long time friend, and mentor, Brian O'Leary who passed away last year. It is given to that member whose presence can "light up the room" and his actions went above and beyond expectation. Todd is also hard-working, dependable, and serves on our Board of Directors. He definitely is a presence. The light is noticeably dimmer when he's not at rehearsal. Some even say he has a great sense of humor. Congratulations, Todd. Keep us smiling.
