Physical Activity Tips
MR. FRAAD'S PHYSICAL ACTIVITY TIPS:
Make physical activity part of your daily routine.
Allow enough time for unstructured free-play.
Keep a variety of games and sports equipment on hand.
Be active together. Make it a family thing.
Limit time spent in sedentary activities such as: watching TV, using electronic devices, and playing video games.
Most of the physical activity should be aerobic where kids use larger muscles and continue for a period of time.
Muscle strength and bone strengthening physical activity should be included at least 3 days a week.
Kids who enjoy sports and exercise tend to stay active throughout their lives.
Reduce sugar intake.
Increase water intake.
Be vigorously active for at least 60 minutes a day.
GET OFF THE COUCH!!
