Since the 1st International Conference on Advanced Materials Development & Performance (AMDP) was founded in Auckland, 1997, the AMDP has 27 years history, and has been organized by seven universities located in Asia and Australasia. The key aim of the conference is to provide an opportunity for the delegates to meet, interact and exchange new ideas on advanced materials development, performance and their applications. This conference covers a wide range of topics related to materials science and engineering. We would like to carry on the good work by hosting the 10th International Conference on Advanced Materials Development & Performance (AMDP 2024) at Tokushima University, Tokushima, Japan on September 23–25, 2024.
Session topics of AMDP
Energy Materials and Technology
Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology
Electronic, Magnetic and Optical Materials
Computational Materials and Modelling
Biomaterials and Biodevices
Environmental and Green Materials
Materials Convergence Engineering with AI
PHENMA (Physics and Mechanics of New Materials and Their Applications) is a long-running international conference series launched in 2012 that rotates across the Asia–Pacific region—hosted over the years in Russia, Taiwan, Thailand, India, South Korea, Vietnam, Japan, and Indonesia—while consistently focusing on advanced materials development, their physics/mechanics, manufacturing, and performance in applications (including marine/underwater contexts). A defining feature is its robust publication pipeline: selected contributions are regularly issued as Springer Proceedings in Materials (and related Springer series) alongside edited volumes with Nova Science Publishers, and are frequently expanded into special issues of international journals such as Applied Sciences, Journal of Advanced Dielectrics, Modern Physics Letters B, Mechanics of Composite Materials, and Material Physics and Mechanics. The series has built a continuous archive from PHENMA 2012 through PHENMA 2024 and beyond, with PHENMA 2025 scheduled for Kitakyushu, Japan, and proceedings/partner journals already designated. Its overarching goal is to draw researchers—especially from Asia and the broader Asia–Pacific—into sustained collaboration and joint investigations, providing a venue that links materials design and processing with rigorous mechanics/physics and real-world performance.
