1. Each oral presentation (general presentation) have 15 minutes (with a bell after 12 minutes), followed by 5 minutes for discussion/presenter change (total of 20 minutes). We kindly request strict punctuality to the schedule. Symposium presenters and award recipients will receive separate notifications from their respective organizers. The permissible languages for presentations are Japanese or English.
2. In oral presentations, we will exclusively use projectors. Please prepare slides using presentation software such as PowerPoint. To ensure that international students and participants from abroad can understand the presentation content, please use the English language on the slide screens. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
3. Please ensure that you bring your own computer for your presentation. We have allocated 10 minutes of preparation time for every 3-4 presentations. During this time, speakers should connect their computers to the designated terminal and verify that the projection works correctly on the projector.
4. To prepare for any computer or equipment-related issues, please bring a backup copy of your presentation slides on a USB flash drive or a similar storage device.
1. The posters for the symposium can be displayed starting from 10:00 AM on the day of the presentation. Please ensure that they remain posted until 9:00 AM the following morning.
2. We will provide poster boards, 90 cm width and 210 cm height. You can arrange your poster layout, except for the presentation number display area. Please include English for the title, institution name, and researcher's name. The main body of the poster can be in either Japanese or English, please include an English summary within the poster's content.
3. The pins for poster display will be provided by the symposium organizer at the poster area. For those who have submitted their posters for the poster award competition, please pick up a ☆-shaped identification mark at the venue's reception and be sure to display it on your poster.
4. The presentation time slots for poster speakers with presentation numbers in 1P#-## will be on the 21st from 12:50 to 14:50, while those with numbers in 2P#-## will be on the 22nd from 12:50 to 14:50, totaling 120 minutes. For presentations with an odd number at the end, please allocate the first 60 minutes (12:50-13:50) for your explanation and presentation. For presentations with an even number at the end, allocate the latter 60 minutes (13:50-14:50) for your explanation and presentation. For those who have applied for the poster award competition, the entire 120-minute period on the first day is designated for explanations and presentations. During this time, judging will take place, so please do not leave your poster unattended. (If you are absent during the judging, your poster will not be considered for the award.)
