Please see the following information for SJIS Students who are scheduled for the flexible Hybrid Distance Learning Schedule (aka - "Brick and Mortar"). Student group letters can be found on your child's PowerSchool page, after 5 pm on 9/2/20. **Please know we are not able to make changes to the group /days students are assigned.
Please see the following information for SJIS Students who are scheduled for the flexible Hybrid Distance Learning Schedule (aka - "Brick and Mortar"). Student group letters can be found on your child's PowerSchool page, after 5 pm on 9/2/20. **Please know we are not able to make changes to the group /days students are assigned.
Important: Please be reminded that it is the expectation that parents/guardians self screen their child-children daily prior to sending off or bringing to school. If your child is displaying symptoms they should stay at home, and you will need to contact the school nurse within 24 hours. Students are required to wear face coverings throughout the day. SJIS will provide students with 2 face masks, and we recommend your child bring the spare daily in case the one they are wearing needs to be replaced during the day.

Group A - Monday & Tuesday attend "brick and mortar" at SJIS. Wednesday - Thursday Independent Distance Learning working on assignments in Google Classroom
Group B - Wednesday & Thursday "brick and mortar" at SJIS. Monday - Tuesday Independent Distance Learning working on assignments in Google Classroom
Friday - Distance Learning for All Students (no students in building): Both Groups A & B will follow their regular daily schedule for classes and attend live virtual sessions with their teachers, via their google classroom link, for 20-30 minutes per class. It is mandatory for students to attend these live sessions.

Group A Students - attend "brick and mortar" Tuesday, September 8th (Wednesday, Sept. 9 & Thursday Sept. 10 independent distance learning. (Friday follow their daily schedule logging into live virtual sessions as noted above.)
Group B Students - attend "brick and mortar" Wednesday, September 9th & Thursday, September, 10th. (Friday follow their daily schedule logging into live virtual sessions as noted above.)
Please note that students will not be allowed on buses, and attend school on days that they are not assigned.
