Horry County Schools has partnered with Beanstack to allow students to easily track their reading digitally. Students can log an entire book when they have finished, or log their number of pages daily. ALL reading counts, including graphic novels, audio books, ebooks, books ready by parents or with siblings, and any reading in class (social studies, science and math). Teachers can also log pages for their entire class when they read stories aloud!
Challenges will take place all year for class and grade level incentives, but students will also earn individual incentives for their total number of pages logged each quarter!
Students can log their pages at school by signing in directly to ClassLink using their school username and password, or "badge" for our primary students.
At home, students may visit ClassLink directly, or visit the Horry County Schools home page and clicking on Student Learning Commons.
At home, students and parents may also download the Beanstack app to track their nightly reading. Simply download the app and login with the students school username and password.
