My name is Ms. Etherson. I am the Web and Digital Communication and Digital Arts teacher at the Academy for the Arts, Science, and Technology in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I teach a plethora of media, but my favorite media is photography. I use a Sony ar7 camera and my iphone XS. I like to edit photos in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and various apps on my cell phone.

I have been teaching for 24 years and I love it! I have taught photography, visual art, yearbook journalism, graphic design, and 6th grade social studies. In my spare time I hang out with my two dogs, Charley, and Scout. They are very active and keep my busy, Charley and Scout are American Staffordshire Terriers.

This will be my third year teaching at the Academy. I have enjoyed working with students that have a passion in the digital field. We study photography, graphic design, web page design, multimedia, animation, video and sound editing, augmented reality, virtual reality, 3D design, and game design. We utilize the complete Adobe Creative Suite and Unity Game Engine in our classes.
